After graduating from DePauw University in 1975, David went on to be a husband, a father, a window washer, sales manager, marketer, a business owner, artist, newspaper columnist, and a teacher. Facilitation is his passion and where he has chosen to focus his skill enhancement and education since 1995.  He is Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Qualified (ENTJ) and Emotional Intelligence Certified (EQ-i and EQ360) and a master facilitator of The Leadership Challenge using the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI).

David believes significance is more important than success, one’s eulogy trumps one’s resume and it's more important to be interested rather than interesting. David has used this philosophy with 1,500+ leaders and teams in over 20,000 hours with as few as 5 to as many as 300 participants in developing uncommon leadership, building nurturing communities and creating productive innovation. This has resulted in higher morale, lower turnover, increased productivity and greater ROI.
