As we continue to function in a virtual and blended work environment, keeping people engaged and connected is essential for the health of the organization. NOW is the time for leaders to focus on the human element of work.

How It Works

Micro-engagements provide the opportunity to energize individuals and teams in a short yet impactful way. These 45-to-90-minute engagements are targeted for a virtual workforce and span across three categories of focus:

  • Cultivating camaraderie – games and team development activities to infuse connection, laughter and energy back into teams
  • Building capabilities – interactive training engagements to enhance team and individual capabilities within a virtual environment
  • Enhancing well-being – immersive sessions to enrich individual, family, team and leadership well-being

Each category has modules that can be offered as a standalone option or packaged to form a more in-depth initiative.

Why It Works

As we emerge from the pandemic, and mandatory work from home orders, experts predict there will be a substantial shift in our workforce towards a blended work environment. This new trend forces us to reconsider how we can better connect, communicate and get work done together in this new way of working

While technology is adapting quickly there are still opportunities to evolve the human element of working in a virtual environment. How can we build relationships without the water cooler moments with colleagues, or have meaningful team building sessions when we only see each other on a screen?

This is a critical time for leaders to focus on developing employee-to-employee relationships and overall well-being to ensure that camaraderie and engagement can endure long-term. Continuum's Micro-Engagements provide the opportunity to energize individuals and teams working virtually in a short yet impactful way.
