Bio
Lawrence Henderson is the Owner/Chief Learning Officer for Business Operational Support Services (BOSS), LLC and has the pleasure of serving as a consultant for Continuum Consulting Services LLC.
Lawrence started his leadership journey through service to his country as a U.S. Army officer. Now as a Leadership & Organizational Development coach and trainer Lawrence leads by delivering social/culturally aware programs that shift the fabric of an organization. He stands proud in a position to support individuals, teams, and organizations to connect the dots to the best versions of themselve
Lawrence’s unquenchable desire to bridge the gap for others in their understanding of identity and purpose has led him to seek higher education as a Ph.D. candidate at Northcentral University in the focus area of Organizational Leadership. This work and research are not just another notch, but a deeper dive into purposeful work.
Ever the goal achiever Lawrence says, “I can’t expect clients to drink the Kool-Aid if I don’t do it myself”. This played out on the TEDx Youngtown stage where he put himself in position as a thought leader with his mantra “Actions over ideas always win!”
Lawrence has a filter he uses to achieve undeniable results for his clients. That filter comes in the form of his values that uniquely spell R.I.S.E. By showing Respect – Lawrence respects and understands that any development goal belongs to the client and it is their process and it is our job to facilitate/create safe and open spaces. By operating with Integrity – Lawrence will not lift a finger outside of this competency. His U.S. Army roots are a guide to leading through Service – from the U.S. Army to the client, we partner to achieve success no matter the obstacle. All of this supported by modeling Excellence – a mindset that creates sustainable improvement.
When it’s time to let his hair down he loves letting the wind hit his face while riding his 2007 Harley Davidson Fatboy, while creating epic memories with his wife Gepre of over 16 years, and their fur-baby Chili aka ChiChi.
